How will “the Stuttgart-Ulm rail project“ be funded?
The investments for restructuring the Stuttgart rail node amount to a total of EUR 4,088 billion. Most of that sum will be provided by the Federal government, Deutsche Bahn and the Federal Land of Baden-Württemberg.
The new-build line between Wendlingen and Ulm is expected to cost EUR 2 billion, a sum which will be split between the Federal government and the Land of Baden-Württemberg.
